 Dr. (Mrs.) Assibi Kantiok began her working career as an elementary school teacher in Fadan Kagoma, Nigeria. Born to the first Royal Family in Kagoma, Nee Assibi Maidawa attended the Kwoi Girls School and was a member of the famous Kwoi Girls Choir that blessed many across West African and the world in general through the ministry of Radio ELWA (Eternal Love Winning Africa). Dr. Assibi Kantiok, having completed her teacher training at St. Louis Women Teachers’ College, Zonkwa, served as the Youth Leader of the ECWA Church, Fadan Kagoma in addition to her teaching at the elementary school. She later proceeded to the Kafanchan College of Education where she completed her Nigeria Certificate in Education. Not content with her training, she proceeded to the University of Jos, where she graduated with a B.SC degree in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology. After teaching for one year, she was promoted to Principal Education Officer (Guidance and Counseling) at the Kafanchan Zonal Office of the Ministry of Education, Kaduna, a position she held until she joined her Husband in the US in 1996. While in the US, Dr. Assibi Kantiok read an MBA in Nonprofit Organizations Management at Hope International University. Dr. Assibi Kantiok recently completed her theological training at Promise Christian University, where she obtained a Doctor of Theology, specializing in Christian Counseling. Together with her husband, Professor James Kantiok, they founded the BEGE Ministries International in 1999, where she serves as the Vice President and the Director in Charge of the Women and Children’s Ministry. Dr. Assibi Kantiok is a trained and certified Early Childhood Educator with a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Director’s Permit. Dr. (Mrs). Kantiok is mother, a trainer, an organizer and counselor. She is also a prayer warrior who shakes and moves things on her knees.
