For a very long time the church has struggled with how to address the ever increasing problem of discipleship of Muslim converts. There are many ministries out there preaching and making converts but the rate of reversion is great and very few actually stay. Research shows that 70% of Muslim converts immediately revert to Islam after conversion, 20% remain but are neither Muslims nor Christians and only 10% of coverts remain Christians. This problem is attributed to lack of or improper discipleship. The goal of BEGE is to reach at least a 70% retention of coverts through a deliberate and carefully planned program of action. Muslim converts are first of all rehabilitated, discipled, trained and then sent out as missionaries to reach out to other Muslims through the center. The BEGE center specializes in discipleship and training of converts and their families using highly contextualized mission formats. Through the BEGE center, converts can also receive a Diploma in Evangelism and Mission Studies. We use a holistic approach to help converts regain their livelihood through a deliberate and carefully planned vocational training that meet the peculiar need of each convert
